About Me

Welcome to kindergarten!  I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself. I was raised here in Milan and graduated from Milan High School in 2000. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Freed-Hardeman University in 2005. I am highly qualified in the state of Tennessee to teach grades K-6. This is my15th year teaching kindergarten at Milan Elementary.  I live in Milan with my husband, Josh; 11 year old son, Mason; 9 year old son, Carter; 6 year old son, Maxwell and 4 year old son, Cord. When Iā€™m not teaching, my boys keep me very busy. The two oldest are on the Jackson Swim Team, so we spend a lot of time at the pool.

My favorite things are traveling, swimming and Tennessee Vols football!  I love teaching kindergarten and watching my students learn and grow!
