Hello, parents and students of Milan Elementary School! My name is Tyler Glodjo, and I am the ESL teacher for our district. While I spend most of my time at MES, I also travel to the middle and high schools to provide ESL services for students there. I have been teaching for eight years. I have a bachelor's degree in TESOL and a master's degree in Intercultural Studies from Union University, where I also teach as an adjunct professor. I am also pursuing my PhD in Composition & Applied Linguistics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I love my students in Milan Special School District and truly enjoy helping them meet their academic goals and needs while also learning an additional language!
I live in Jackson, TN with my wife, Danielle, and two kids, John (9) and Sadie (7). We also have a chocolate labradoodle named Shelby Rey. When I'm not teaching or writing, I love to play boardgames with my family and friends. I am also a coffee geek. I roast my own coffee and can make a cappucino or latte better than any barista at your local Starbucks! 😉
