Hello, parents and students of Milan Elementary School! My name is Tyler Glodjo, and I am the ESL teacher for our district. While I spend most of my time at MES, I do travel to the middle and high schools to provide ESL services for students there too. I have been teaching for six years. I have a BA in TESOL and a MA in Intercultural Studies from Union University, where I also teach as an adjunct professor. I am also pursuing my PhD in English Composition & TESOL from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I love my students in Milan Special School District and truly enjoy helping them meet their academic goals and needs while also learning an additional language!
I live in Jackson, TN with my wife, Danielle, and two kids, John (7) and Sadie (5). We also have a chocolate labradoodle named Shelby Rey. When I'm not teaching or writing, I love to play boardgames with my family and friends. I am also a coffee geek. I roast my own coffee and can make a cappucino or latte better than barista at your local Starbucks! 😉
